A
unique component of the Teaching Institute is the "Discovery Box," a
self-contained lesson plan developed by each participating educator
with the support and guidance of a specially trained Box Design Team.
Participants who have been through the process of developing and producing
a Discovery Box call it an invaluable learning experience. Upon completion,
Discovery Boxes are housed at the Teaching Institute as a resource
for participating teachers and children studying independently, and
can be loaned out to partner schools.
